A LOOK BACK AT
2021
Wow, this has been quite a year for us all, and the road wasn’t always smooth for the majority but through it all, we persevered! Many of us had our families uprooted, lost loved ones, lost jobs, found ourselves trying to stay afloat in school and on the home-front. But for a lot of folks they were able to see their businesses flourish, purchase homes, thrive in school and the new “work from home” environment. It was definitely a mixed bag of events that made us stronger, wiser, more prepared, and more connected to people, places, and things that bring us joy!
So here we are at the conclusion of yet another level of this life journey; pausing for reflection and gratitude, while preparing for another year of intentional blessings of good health, wealth, and prosperity. We hope that our relationships continue to be strengthened and that negativity is removed from our path. We set goals for things and situations to manifest themselves in our lives that will have the greatest impact on WHO we are and WHY we are here.
At Educate the World, Inc there is so much to be thankful for and the hope of next year's opportunities bring us joy! Our goal of bringing back a sense of community awareness and civic responsibility to our young people all while providing opportunities for families and stakeholders to exchange, network, and support each other through workshop modules, seminars, and face-to-face events is more of a reality than it was last year. And through our signature “UP↑NEXT” Campaign initiative we will gather young folks across Baltimore County to build their civic engagement capacity through organizing and participating in community projects as well as events to focus on self-sustaining practices to prepare them for adulthood.
With the additional activities and workshops for parents, 2022 promises to be an amazing year for ETW and our underserved populations in the North and SouthWest corridors. We have a year of “firsts” to look forward to and hope you will join us on this journey.
